Jorge L.   • Won $10.5 million jury verdict for Miami-based freight-forwarding company for breach of fiduciary duties arising from a joint venture, tortious interference, and usurpation of corporate opportunity against multi-national logistics firm.
  • Won trial verdict in excess of $7 Million for foreign-national, imposing equitable lien and resulting trust against multiple multi-million-dollar Brickell condominiums.  
  • Represented Management Services Organization in acquisition of multi-million-dollar healthcare business.
  • Negotiated lease buy-out in connection with $34 Million land assembly.  
  • Obtained $18.5 Million jury verdict for construction worker who suffered catastrophic injury at job site.
  • Represented real estate broker denied real estate commission in web of litigation surrounding $42 Million land assembly (confidential settlement).
  • Obtained jury verdict, valued at over $4 Million in action for dissociation of LLC member.  
  • Obtained jury verdict recognized as “Verdict of the Year” in the area of Landlord-Tenant liability.  
  • Won summary judgment for real estate development group against claims brought by investors alleging fraud and violation of Florida’s Blue Sky securities laws.

  • Represented pro boxing promoters against boxing mogul in battle over rights to promote undefeated, junior lightweight champion of the world (confidential settlement).
  • Represented professional security firm in litigation against high-profile celebrity’s management company for tortious interference with contractual relations between security firm and employee. (confidential settlement). 
  • Represented estate of decedents of aircraft disaster in appeal of order granting dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction,  against The Boeing Company and British commercial airline operators (confidential settlement). 
  • Secured emergency receivership for ousted shareholder of multi-million-dollar tax preparation company. (confidential settlement).  
  • Obtained dismissal with prejudice for CPA accused in Federal Court of violating Civil Rico statutes.
